Here I am, finally creating my first blog. This was my homework last week in BaW06, but somehow I couldn't do it. So why am I doing it now? Because I was just trying to add a comment to Kat's Edu-Kat blog and I found I couldn't do it without starting one of my own! So thanks, Kat, I think.

I have been a Lecturer in English as a Second Language at the University of Maryland, College Park (Maryland English Institute) since 1981. Since beginning my ESL career in France in 1971, I have taught primarily in higher education settings. I also enjoy working with adults from the immigrant community. I live in Gaithersburg, Maryland with my husband Christoforos and our daughter, Vicki.
